My name is Lauana Daik, I am 20 years old, and I live in Santarém, Portugal. Since I was a kid, I have always dreamed of working in communications — I even recorded countless videos for my family, like a true YouTuber. In 2017, thanks to the talent and charisma of soccer player Paulo Dybala, a second passion was born that go hand in hand with my first: sports
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management at the Escola Superior de Desporto de Rio Maior, and working on my own podcast Breaking The Grid, where I interview and talk with professional women from various areas of motorsport. I intend to professionally combine what I love most — communicating with and experiencing the world of sports intensely.
Within my degree, I have a special interest in areas such as Sports Marketing, Sports Event Management, Sports Facility Management, Sports Project Management, etc.
In an environment where opportunities rarely arise, I decided to create them myself. And how? I am part of a project related to motorsports that seeks to support and inspire other women who, like me, dream of building a career in a world still markedly dominated by men.
When I am not immersed in motorsport races or cheering on team sports matches, I dedicate myself to other passions that fulfill me, such as listening to music, reading, painting, dancing, traveling, and learning more about the topics that fascinate me.
For me, communicating is not just about talking — it is about creating connections, awakening emotions, inspiring others, and sharing what truly makes us feel alive!
